650nm - 1400nm
Classified as “retina-safe”, 1.55 µm lasers are being used more widely in consumer and industrial applications. The application areas include, but are not limited to, C-band telecommunications in fiber optics and free space optics, LIDAR for distance measurement and range finding, cosmetic procedures, such as non-ablative laser treatments, Raman spectroscopy, and holography. Due to the myriad of useful applications, 1.55 µm laser systems belong to one of the fastest evolving fields nowadays.
* CW (nm) = Central Wavelength* GDD (fs2) = Group Delay Dispersion* AOI = Angle of normal Incidence in degrees* Pol = Polarization
